DESCRIPTION:This course explores cyber risks\, cyber risk management and cyber risk insurance products and plans. It begins by explaining the scope and types of cyber threats present for businesses and consumers today. Evolving risk management principles that are used to control both tangible and intangible damage and loss from cyber-attacks and breaches are explored. The NAIC’s Insurance Data Security Model Law is presented\, and the place of insurance and insurer’s cyber risk and response programs are considered. The need for insurance beyond traditional Commercial Property\, CGL\, Crime and Business owners coverages is identified. First and third-party cyber risk coverages are defined. Several cyber risk insurance plans are reviewed\, including ISO’s standardized plans and many non-standard cyber insurance programs available. A look at the role of insurance related to cyber risks\, such as identity theft coverage\, Directors and Officers liability insurance\, Errors & Omissions insurance and Crime coverage\, conclude the course.

SUMMARY:Influencing the World for Women – with Nancy D. Butler  -- Virtual presentation
DESCRIPTION:Nancy D. Butler was honored to be appointed a delegate to The United Nations for the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for 2018\, 2019 and 2020. CSW brings together approximately 10\,000 women from around the world to share their challenges\, solutions to overcome them and to make recommendations to the UN. Butler attended sessions on human trafficking\, child marriage\, terrorism\, micro insurance and many more.  \nNancy will share her experience with us and some of the issues and solutions being implemented around the world. \nDue to Covid\, the 2021 CSW meetings will be held virtually on March 17-26 and many of them are open to the public. Nancy will share how you can attend free of charge.
