Annuity Basics – CEUs for financial and insurance professionals

The knowledge gained in this course will provide the insurance agent with the tools needed to recommend the adequate product to best serve the consumer in regards to annuities. The course will begin with a description and definition of the different classifications of annuities. It will inform the agent of the parties involved and the roles they play in annuities. The annuity contract features, taxation, and how it affects the consumers will be included, along with the primary use of annuities. Concluding with the sales practices, replacement and disclosure requirements, and the agent will be made knowledgeable of the practices involved in the business of annuities.
