Halloween Costume Idea for Kids

When my granddaughter was two years old she loved to watch “Blues Clues” on television. I decided I would find an easy way to have her be the “Blues Clues Dog” for Halloween. I used a blue blanket sleeper for the body and purchased a second matching sleeper to cut up and make a hood to match and attach the ears and facial features. I purchased darker blue felt squares and cut them into various shapes for the spots, attaching them with fabric glue. I sewed the ears and tail and stuffed them to make them “stand”. The nose was dark felt and the eyes and mouth were drawn on with a red felt tongue. It was easy to make and came out really cute.
